This might be a dumb question. In the Marvel Universe, The United States views Latveria as a dictatorship. Why then, does it allow Latveria an embassy in New York?

tallestsilver:

The only dumb question is the unasked one.

Latveria goes between being a Monarchy and a Dictatorship. Sometimes it’s stupid ridiculous where Doom is parading school children to praise his name and other times he’s comparable to any real dictator like Kim Jong Il or Sadam Hussein, aaaaaaaaaand then there are other times where he is an actually beloved monarch doing really good things for his country and on the side, he wants to ruin the Fantastic Four and just make the world more efficient under his rule. I mean is that so hard?

Soooooooo maybe the Latverian embassy was there before Doom’s rise to power. Maybe it is more of a monarchy than dictatorship. Maybe the US is confused with its alliances to Latveria. Maybe it’s a fictional place without a decisive pattern of how a made up country’s political power is run (but that’s the least likely, I mean really.)

All in all, Doom’s word is law.

Doctor Lemondoom

Just thought it’d be funny to toss up some Doom-filtered Lemongrab sound clips from Adventure Time onto some Doom animation because why not.

Was making Lemongrab/Doom gifs because I can.
Or somesuch.

Marvel Heroes: Chronicles Of Doom (Part II Fan-Dub)

It feels it has been too long since I have done up some Doom.
And so here it is, peasants. REJOICE.
Was fun to do up a voice I thought fit for Dormammu. Hadn’t really thought about voicing him before.
Of all the parts released, I like Part II the most, so decided to do that one.

The music used is a tune my friend Gareth made for my ‘Books Of Doom’ dub. I call it The Iron Hand Of Vengeance, based on the line from that particular dub. Figured I’d mention that before anyone asked.

MTV GEEK: Is there anything you’re seeing within the Marvel movies based on characters you co-created you wish had been different?

STAN LEE: Only one thing. I wasn’t happy with the way Doctor Doom was portrayed in “Fantastic Four.” I love the movies but he wasn’t the Doctor Doom I have known and loved.

THANK YOU, MR. LEE.
